Chieftain of the Games
We are delighted to announce that Susan Jardine-Paterson, of the Gask Estate, Auchterarder, has been chosen as Chieftain of the Blackford Highland Games. A Deputy Lord-Lieutenant of Perth and Kinross, Susan was raised on a stock farm in Dumfriesshire, giving her a lifelong connection to rural Scotland and its traditions. She began her career as a Cordon Bleu cook, working in shooting and stalking lodges across Scotland, before spending a decade living in the United States. On returning to Scotland, Susan married a local laird and has remained closely involved in both rural and community life. She has a strong enthusiasm for outdoor pursuits and is a keen gardener and birdwatcher. Susan is also deeply committed to her local community, serving as a member of the Perth College Development Trust and as a Trustee of the Sandpiper Trust. We are honoured to welcome Susan as Chieftain and look forward to her joining us to celebrate another fantastic year of the Blackford Highland Games.

Our Sponsors
We extend our sincere gratitude to all our sponsors, whose generous support makes the Blackford Highland Games possible. We are especially thankful to Mr. Archie Stirling for his continued generosity in loaning the Keir and Cawdor Games Park to the Blackford Highland Games committee each year. Without these invaluable contributions, we could not sustain this proud tradition that unites our community and welcomes visitors year after year.
